Duct Coupler

The Gamson HDPE Duct Coupler is a specialized mechanical fitting designed specifically to join two pieces of HDPE PLB Telecom Ducts or HDPE Pipes. It provides a leak-free airtight and watertight connection between HDPE Ducts allowing Gamson Duct Couplers to withstand high internal air pressures during cable blowing process. Made using 100% virgin grade Polypropylene (PP) raw material, Gamson Duct Couplers offer maximum strength, durability and long-term performance and are the appropriate choice for optical fiber cable, telecom and electrical ducting applications.

The exact internal profile of GAMSON Duct Coupler locks the duct in place tightly, minimizing movement or loosening over time, providing a snug, secure, and vibration-resistant joint between two HDPE telecom ducts. Gamson manufactures these couplers for various sizes of HDPE Ducts including 32 mm, 36 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm and 110 mm, or any other size as per customer requirement. Gamson manufactures 40 mm duct coupler that is compatible with HDPE PLB Telecom ducts of sizes 40/33 mm, 40/34.2 mm or other ducts with an outer diameter of 40 mm. Gamson’s Push-fit duct couplers are engineered to provide a strong grip and tight sealing between HDPE Ducts to ensure uninterrupted and reliable connectivity of telecom networks. Gamson has supplied these duct couplers to its clients all over India and customers across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi NCR.

Key Features

  • Duct Couplers as per TEC specifications: Manufactured as per Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) specification TEC 72030:2025, Gamson duct couplers are tested to withstand high pulling loads and air pressure upto 15 Bar, ensuring that the joint made using Gamson Duct Coupler won't fail even under high-stress conditions.
  • 100% Virgin Grade Material: Gamson Duct Couplers are made using 100% virgin grade raw material for maximum durability, strength, and long-term performance. No recycled material is used to assure best quality.
  • Airtight & Watertight Leak-Proof Sealing: Engineered for airtight and watertight connections for completely sealing HDPE telecom duct connections, preventing dust, water, and air ingress. Ideal for safeguarding underground or exposed telecom duct systems from environmental damage.
  • Available in Various Sizes as per Requirement: Gamson India manufactures Duct Couplers for 40 mm, 32 mm, 36 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm and 110 mm size HDPE Pipes and PLB Ducts. Other sizes are also available on request.
  • Precision-Fit Design for Easy, Secure Installation: Gamson Duct coupler has a very simple-to-use and compact design that helps in saving time and labour cost required in installation

Installation Steps

  • Preparation: Use the Duct Cutter to make a clean, square cut on the duct ends.
  • Beveling: Use the Chamfering Tool to taper the outer edge of the duct. This prevents the sharp edge of the pipe from damaging the internal O-ring of the coupler.
  • Insertion: Push the duct firmly into the coupler until it hits the internal stop or center bridge.
  • Tightening: Tighten the compression nut by hand, followed by a half-turn with a Spanner to lock the grip ring in place.

Primary Applications

  • Fiber Optic Cables: Duct Couplers are used for joining pieces of HDPE PLB Telecom Duct used for casing and protection of Optical Fiber Cables (OFCs). Our duct couplers provide an airtight connection allowing for installation of cables via blowing and mechanical pulling methods.
  • Electrical Cable Networks: Duct couplers are also used in signaling and power supply electrical cable networks to join pieces of HDPE Pipes that provide protective casing to these cables, thus, having a wide application in railway and defence department.
